Charlie Thelen began his professional journey when he appeared on the Oconomowoc branding scene in 2006. Like many others, Charlie went through a multi-year apprenticeship with local screen printers to learn the art and science of printing.  In 2010, Charlie became the official screen printer and merchandiser for the Slinger Speedway racetrack.  Family means everything to Charlie and he worked closely with his mom, Laura, until her unexpected passing in February 2023. 

 

Charlie and Sara met in early summer of 2021 and hit it off instantly!  Sara was in the midst of a decade plus career as an elementary special education teacher. As their relationship grew, they knew a part of their long-term plan was to have Sara eventually join Charlie at the business full-time.  This plan was fast forwarded when Sara jumped in with both feet in March 2023. 

 

The two quickly became a dynamic duo at the shop, both bringing numerous strengths to the table which helped them propel the business quickly forward. What once started with screen printing, now includes embroidery, direct to film printing, laser engraving, and online store creation. You can find Charlie and Sara at their Oconomowoc shop during the week and at Slinger Speedway every Sunday.
