What payment methods do you offer?

We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. A 3% processing fee is added to all invoices for credit card payments.

What brand and products do you carry?

We carry a wide range of brands, including: Gildan, Tultex, Bella + Canvas, Next Level, Carhartt, Nike, Adidas, and more!

We can print on almost any wearable product, including: t-shirts, sweatshirts, athletic apparel, tote bags, bandanas, jackets, sweatpants, and more.

We offer embroidery on headwear, polo shirts, jackets, blankets, and more.

Can I get just one shirt made?

YES! Using the latest technology in Direct to Film Printing, you can have one shirt made!

How can I get a quote on an order?

The best way to get a custom quote is to contact us in-person, over the phone or via email. We walk you through every step of the process to ensure the most accurate quote.

What is your turnaround time?

Once we have all the information needed to complete your order, we proudly offer a two-week turnaround time.

Do you have rush services?

Yes. If you need your order faster than 5 business days, we can typically accommodate this with a rush fee. A rush fee will be added to your invoice.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer quantity price breaks.

Where are you located?

Our showroom and shop are located at N58W39919 Industrial Road in Oconomowoc.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday through Friday 11:00-5:00

Appointments are always welcome outside of posted business hours.

Can I see samples of your work and the products your offer?

YES! We have a large showroom that features blank apparel and samples of completed custom branding.

What if you don’t have a product in your showroom?

We will gladly order in a sample product for you.

Do you ship?

YES! We are always happy to ship an order. The customer pays the shipping fee.

Is all work done in-house?

YES! We proudly complete all work in-house. We will not source your job out.

Can I bring in my own apparel to brand?

We proudly offer a wide variety of products to be branded and ask our customers to purchase their products from us. Please contact us for more information.

What is the minimum order for screen printing?

The minimum order for screen printing is 24 pieces of the same artwork. This can be a combination of shirt styles and sizes.

What type of logo file do I need for screen printing?

The best files include: AI (Adobe Illustrator), PSD (Adobe Photoshop), EPS, PDF

Other file types that may work: SVG, PNG

*Other files may be accepted, but be aware that any work we need to do to the artwork submitted may incur an art fee of $50/hour, billed in fifteen minute increments.

What is the maximum number of colors you can print with screen printing?

We are able to screen print up to five colors.

Do you charge a set-up/screen fee?

All set-up and/or screen fees are included in the quote we provide.

How do you determine pricing?

Our pricing is based on the apparel/product you select, how many items are being printed, how many colors are in the logo, and the number of locations being printed (front, back, sleeve).

What is an underbase?

When printing on a dark t-shirt, a layer of white ink is printed under the artwork. This acts as a primer for the rest of the colors and helps the other colors pop.

Do you offer a proof or mock-up before printing?

Yes. We provide a digital mock-up via email that requires approval before printing. Customers should carefully review their graphics and part particular attention to spelling if the logo includes words.

Once the customer approves the artwork, The Shirt and Company, will not be held responsible should the order be completed and later found to have errors, including spelling.

Customers are ultimately responsible for ensuring their artwork is correct prior to order production. When customers submit their own artwork for an order, the artwork will be considered to have been proofed once submitted to us. If artwork submitted is still in draft form, the customer must make us aware that the art provided is not the final artwork for the order and the order will go on hold until the final artwork is approved.

What is the minimum for embroidery?

There is no minimum for custom embroidery.

What type of logo file do I need for embroidery?

How do you determine pricing?

Our pricing is based on the apparel/product you select, how many items are being printed, the number of stitches in the embroidery logo, and the number of locations being printed (front, back, sleeve).

I have never had my logo embroidered before, can you help get that done?

Yes! We provide in-house digitizing of a logo to prepare it for embroidery. There is a one time fee of $25-$50 per logo. The cost is determined by the size and number of stitches in a logo.

Can you put names or numbers on apparel?

Yes! There is an additional $10-$15 charge to add a name and/or number to a product.

Where on my apparel can I put an embroidered logo?

The most common locations include chest, back, and sleeve. More options available depending on the item.

What is direct to film printing?

Direct to film printing is a newer technology in the apparel industry. Direct to film, commonly known as DTF, is a process in which a graphic printed onto a piece of film with various colored inks is applied to an apparel item. This pre-printed film is binded to the garment through heat and pressure from a heat-press machine. This creates a long-lasting and detailed graphic that can be placed on an array of garments.

What is the maximum number of colors you can print with direct to film?

None! The sky's the limit when it comes to the number of colors.

NO! You can order as few as ONE!

How long does it take to get a site up online?

It takes approximately one week from the time we meet with you until your site is up and live for your group/team to see online.

Do you have samples of the items for my group to come in and try on?

Yes, we have samples of most of the popular items that are used on web stores. We do not have every size in each style but we are happy to assist you with any sizing questions.

Can I return an item I ordered from a web store?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns on any web store items as we only produce exactly what is ordered on the web site.

How long does it take to get my order once I place it?

With online web store orders, it takes approximately 2 weeks from the date the web store closes.
